First Multi-Mode LTE TDD Smartphone, Huawei Ascend P1 LTE – Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon™ S4 Processor, Launched in India

Qualcomm Technologies, Bharti Airtel and Huawei announced the launch of Huawei Ascend P1 LTE, India’s first multi-mode LTE TDD smartphone. Powered by QTI’s superfast 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon™ S4 processor, Huawei Ascend P1 LTE smartphone handles high speed data on the LTE network and voice calls on the underlying 3G network using Circuit Switched Voice Fall Back (CSFB voice) technology. With the launch of Huawei Ascend P1 LTE multi-mode smartphone, consumers in India will have the choice of enjoying high-speed mobile broadband experience using an LTE smartphone.
